54 drops since 2007 and 4 TD's since coming to Miami? Tomorrow is the trade deadline. Can we get anything for him at this point?

Not many teams want an overpriced receiver who drops alot and doesn't score tds.
-
Nope we are stuck with him.

Why we would trade one of the only players on this team (Bess being the other) smart enough to suck 4 luck?

He blows opportunities way too often. -
Yeah, I mean he isn't playing outstanding, but he isn't playing bad against the best CB in the NFL. Maybe it's us having one of the worst QB situations in the NFL? Or maybe our defeatist mentality that this coaching staff has brought? Or 0 for 6 on 3rd down? The O-Line is actually not doing that bad, certainly better than the first 4 games. Yet, we still can't score. It's clear that coaching and QB are the big issues, no matter which way you slice it. I wonder if Brady was out there with these same players, would we be up 17-7???
215 yards of offense to 100 and we're losing 14-6. -
Marshall has to fight for that one.
This is clown shoes.
He just can't make any type of big play.
There will be excuses after this game but the world is seeing it. -
He should not be traded. You guys are nuts. How many other WR's in this league can catch a wide open pass and run themselves out of bounds when the end zone is in sight?

Marshall should have, arguably, 3 tds tonight. He has zero. He has 4 tds as a Dolphin. FOUR. And every week there are questionable drops by him in the endzone, and people on here keep blaming the QB. A great receiver should make a QB look better by catching balls that would otherwise be dropped. Marshall just doesn't do that. He is a drop machine.

I can count 10 plays this year that Marshall has blown the opportunity for a TD...Fitzgerald, A. Johnson, C. Johnson would have a minimum of converting at least 8 of those into TDs.

Considering Brandon Lloyd just got traded for a conditional 6th, I doubt Marshall would garner much more than that. Though after tonight I have finally reached the point where I'm kind of tired of him and wouldn't mind at least asking around.
That's not to say its all on Marshall tonight. The first throw in the endzone was a lob that should have been thrown hard so that Revis didn't have time to get to it. The second one was hard but slightly behind him. I mostly blame Marshall for that one. But some goes on Moore. The third one was a bit behind Marshall, but he still could have caught it. For the money he gets, he should catch it. Other than the scoring opportunities he has been good. But we obviously need more than that. -
Does ANYONE on this team catch balls? I mean seriously? Marshall, Hartline, Bess, Clay - and of course Sean Smith drops an INT right on time.
-
Im sorry but Brandon is no elite reciever. Hell no. Hate to make comparisons if Andre Johnson was a fin, he woulda had 2 TDs

Marshall's salary would probably prohibit any other team trading for him. I doubt if there is any other organization who would be dumb enough to trade for him and pick up the ten million dollar a year salary he earns with the Dolphins. Even if some team was willing to take on his salary. Based on his play since he has been with the Dolphins, I couldn't see another team offering more than a fifth or sixth round pick for him. That is about all he is worth in today's market.
-
As much as Marshall sucks the past few years we would be lucky to get a 3rd rd pick for him. I hate the guy right now but there is no pointy in getting rid of him for nothing....we just need to get the ball to our other WR's more and hope it fires him up when his opportunities decrease. Even then he is so jacked in his head I think that he is his biggest problem and needs help
-
Marshall was smiling and being happy over on the sideline tonight.
He thinks he is winning.

Who would you rather have based purely on observation from this season(and last)? Brandon Marshall or Ted Ginn?
Woe is life for Dolfans these days.... -

He dropped one ball tonight, actually.
If you don't think he's elite, that's fine. In a Dolphin uniform, he hasn't been. If you don't think he's a play maker, than your just ignoring the plays he makes. Dude is a play maker. At worst, a top 10 receiver. -
Another clueless over-emotional fan. -
He needs to forget about the anger and concentrate on getting separation and catching everything that is thrown in his general direction. Other teams' receivers can do it. Why not he? I know it was Revis, but his performance last night was still subpar, whether or not he caught over 100 yards off Revis. He can't drop touchdowns and third down conversions; money receivers don't.
