Last year, some fans via Finsnation.com chipped in for a banner to be flown round the stadium. You likely heard of it. This is the 2012 edition. Didn't work last year, likely won't work this year, but at least we can get our voices heard! I kicked in $20.

 It's a mobile ad driven in the form of a truck. I'm sure we've all seen those. This will be interesting... I doubt they'll actually get into the parking lot at the stadium when we play the Bills. Wonder if the police will be called.

the 3rd one made me lol.
the good ol "4s 5s and 6s" face. -

Yeah that third one is funny.

Will probably be seen by more people than the air banner was to be honest.
Honest opinion, they might be going a little far with this. I dunno. Can't decide. -
I hope even people who support firing Ireland realize how stupid this is.
Not to mention the dubious Dolphins history of trying to get people fired through plane banners.RevRick, Stitches, BlameItOnTheHenne and 1 other person like this. -
As long as they pay to enter the parking lot, shouldn't be a problem.

If I thought it would do any good. I would pay for the entire banner. Unfortunately I don't think Ross has any idea what he is doing and therefore he will retain Ireland because of his complete incompetence as an NFL owner.

The guy actually paying for the mobile billboard had better be careful. I think it would at the very least be an interesting academic question whether Jeff Ireland would have a legal case against him if he did actually end up fired...some kind of harrassment claim that resulted in financially measurable damages. Would be tough to prove anything in court, but I'm not sure it would be a non-starter either. Again, interesting question.
-
BUT, Ireland won't do that. It will dissuade other organizations from hiring him IMO. He has enough bad PR.Steve-Mo likes this. -
Free speech plus Ireland is a public figure, so any suit for defamation would be enarly impossible. Plus he'd have to prove that his firing was due to a billboard rather than his performance.
And good luck with that one Jeffy. Although I guess Shou and Disgustipate could be witnesses for him with the objective analysis that they are always talking about which proves his relative competence compared to other gMs.NolesNPhinsFan, HardKoreXXX and dolfan32323 like this. -

Tortious interference with a contract or intentional infliction of mental distress might hit closer to the mark, but off the cuff, I don't think all the elements are there either.
Besides, instead of suing, Jeff will just spray paint A**HOLE on the truck.... -
I mean I'm just trying to put this into real terms. If someone starts hanging around your place of work holding up signs demanding that you're fired and then you're fired for a myriad of reasons some of which include inciting too much controversy...wouldn't that be a case? Not quite the same thing and a little extreme but that would be essentially what is happening. -

Airheads...... a testament to how intellectual the biggest critics are.

Let's just say I wouldn't be the guy hosting the fund raising drive on my website or paying for the mobile billboard. ;) -
The right way to do it, is to actually show up at the stadium and show a sign from your seat. Or chant "Fireland". That way, Ross sees that paying customers are dissatisfied.

They better step their game up. I'm the critic's biggest critic, and i'll be sporting a sign from my seats, discrediting their notions. Will be hard for camera crew NOT to put me on the big screens. I'll also be giving Henne a warm welcome. Show some class Dolphin fans ! -

I've got a feeling this pasty legged nerd is out on his *** after the Dolphins lose to the Chad Henne led jags tomorrow. Go Jaguars!
-
Now if he stepped down from the dolphins gm job, got an office job in Kansas, and this dude is still paying for a truck to drive around that building to fire Ireland, well then you have something.
