The name atop the Dolphins board ranking free agents is the same name atop most teams' board:
Ndamukong Suh.
There have been whispers the Dolphins were going to make a run at him for a while, and ESPN's Mark Dominik said Atlanta, Jacksonville and the Dolphins are thre three teams poised to recruit him. The NFL Network's Gregg Rosenthal listed Oakland, Detroit, Jacksonville, Chicago, Indianapolis and the Dolphins as the teams with a shot at him.
So the Dolphins can be expected to be in the mix. We'll see where it goes. One key asset might just be team owner Steve Ross, as you'll see.

Raiders have a ton of cap space. might be hard to beat out their offer if they are serious about signing Suh.
-
No, please, no. No Suh. No big FA sell out. Draft, draft, draft. Please. Please.

Let's get him. Suh + Wake = WOW

I'd rather someone else overpay this clown. He is good, but 31 teams will not have him, and I'd prefer Miami to be one of them.
-
I'm not sure that allocating that percentage of a team's cap to one player is associated with success, when that player isn't a QB.
-
Just read he is in Miami right now...

If there is one thing I can say we do well is if we want someone we don't wait they are usually signed and delivered by 2nd day of FA.
I do believe the state tax will play a huge part into his decision, but there are three teams in this state.
1. Jags - have the $$$ and an aggressive HC... IMO farthest from winning tho
2. Bucs - have more $$$ than us, a defesive minded HC who coached against Suh, and #1 pick brining in a heralded QB, still coming off worst record in league, paying a lot for McCoy already
3. Phins - gaining $$$, most established team in the state (not saying much), best QB situation, and major need at DT. Also were selling the city of Miami might as well send them on vacation. -

I think the defense could use some of the nasty he would bring...although, we could do without his foolish antics, like stomping on people.

This guy is in the top 3 most disruptive players on Defense in the NFL.
Would love to snag him.
Would hate to overpay another FA (see: Wallace, Mike).
Would love to watch him stomp Tom Brady's balls. -
I remember that Manning was also linked to the Dolphins prior to the opening of the free agency period three years ago. Once free agency started, the Dolphins quickly became an also ran in the Manning sweepstakes.
Suh is the biggest talent to become a free agent since Manning and I just don't see him ending up as a Dolphin. The Dolphins may have an interest in Suh, but it will be a huge surprise to me if Suh has any interest in a team with a lame duck head coach and an organization which has been second tier for well over a decade.
There are better teams with legitimate chances of winning the SB who will surely be better suited for a player of Suh's ability.I still believe the Colts should do whatever is necessary to sign Suh. He could be the one missing piece on the Colts defense which is needed to get them into the SB next season. -

Why would be sign suh at this point? Great player I get that, but this team is well beyond 1 player to get to the playoffs. We have a ton of holes to fill and spending all that cash on one postion while needed isn't our biggest concern bothers me.. We could get 4-5 players at needed positions for his salary.
-
i'm really torn on this, but the more i think about it, the more i want him
-
Not a huge fan of his attitude but i get a hard on for the thought of a "Wakesuhoon" destroying Brady

I may not be comfortable with so much money going toward one player. Especially with all the needs the team has. I wouldn't be too happy or too upset if this happened. He would make an impact that is for sure though.

John Clayton says Dolphins are favorites to get Suh.
