Jarvis laundry had some negative comments to say about How Ryan Tannehill plays and prepares. It’s interesting to hear what our best wide receiver thought of him.
Landry wasn't finished, saying: "... The quarterback play is so important, which has got me that much more excited about Tyrod and (first-rounder Baker Mayfield) and the way that they're throwing the ball out here, it makes me that much more excited. It's a lot better than what I had in Miami. I'm excited about that."
Landry's went to gush over Taylor's willingness to gather with his receivers in the offseason -- a new experience for the wideout.
"Again, I didn't do that in Miami with the quarterbacks because they didn't want to do it. I would say that the chemistry and the type of guys that I'm around here makes me that much more excited because I know I'm going to be pushed at all levels at all times."
It's crystal clear Landry wasn't thrilled with Tannehill and Miami's cast of signal-callers.

Of course...they only threw him 249 billion passes over four seasons, when they could have thrown him those 50 passes that went to other receivers as well. I guess he felt slighted by only being 98% of our league-worst offense last year.

I dont tank Pouncey's praise of Rivers is any type of knock on Ryan like the media is trying to portray.
He simply said he was excited to play with one of the elite guy's like Rivers....
What's so bad about that? It isn't a secret Ryan isn't an elite QB, and it isn't a secret Philip Rivers is one of the better QB's in football the past 30 years. -
The reality is that it is only a select group of Dolphin fans which view Tannehill as anything more than a mediocre NFL starting QB. After all the time he has been a starting QB in the NFL, he is still viewed as a lower tier starter by the majority of the league.
I suspect that after the 2018 is over, the Dolphins will be making the QB position their highest priority heading into next years draft. -
And no offense, I feel like every year you say you think they'll be drafting another QB...he's 7 years in, eventually you'll be right.danmarino likes this. -

Im no Tannehill fan but i am so happy this idiot is off the team lol he is cancerous, off and on the field. He is a ME guy, not a team guy. From dumb penalties to dumb
Fumbles to throwing fists to opponents, i had enough. And now this just cements it for me.ckparrothead likes this. -
Here is the full interview. He is talking about the entire time he was here, and he is specifically aiming at RT

He actually had a chance to take a shot at Miami a few times and refrained. InterestingLast edited: Jun 12, 2018 -
Maybe Tannehill had a part in Gase's ear, saying that whatever Jarvis can do at that position anyone can do. We've seen review of Jarvis' TD's in Miami and how they were manufactured plays by Gase. When speaking of Landry you always hear about the "fire" he brings, I think that is Gase's way of focusing Jarvis' emotion into the game because he is going to complain and become a detriment to the team if he doesn't get some action.

So it's RT's fault that we wouldn't pay $15mill a year for Juice - I know that he's not the second coming of Marino but jeez, he can do nothing right

When has any player ever gone to a new team and talked about how much better he had it on his previous team? Landry is doing what every player does, and that is talk up his new team. He is also doing what every new WR does, and that's talk up his new QB. He didn't go to a team with a hall of fame QB so he can't take the easy route of saying "I'm excited to play with a proven high caliber QB" so he has to manufacture the positives for his new QB, and he is trying to walk that delicate line of talking up the new QB without completely trashing the previous QB.
I'm a huge Tannehill supporter and I take no issue with anything Landry said in this interview. Especially since he went out of his way without being prompted to talk about where he believed the team would have gone if Tannehill hadn't gotten injured.jdallen1222, Carmen Cygni, Hoops and 1 other person like this. -

Jarvis' main criticism of Tannehill seems to be that he didn't plan road trips for the boys. If that's what Jarvis is focused on then its probably best that he's gone.
