Jeez, we have a bunch of scrubs on the O line except for Jake, who's playing with an ankle sprain...

 

I would also like a source, becuase when a user just posts something without having proof of it, I can;t just belie it. Now, this very well may be true, but I can't believe it until I see that he is hurt as bad as you say he is.

 

Yeah, sources will be needed for the ligament stuff, but unless my eyes deceived me, it was clearly a break at the least. I am hoping that that was all it was. If so, he should be ready for next year, if ligament damage is present, expect him to be out for quite awhile longer...

Didn´t we just sign the former Cowboys Center? Maybe we can move Satele to Guard and add some Experience to the Lineup.

 

He didn´t help his case with the penalty today.

 

The Dolphins used Andy Alleman at left guard today but coach Tony Sparano immediately mentioned recently signed Al Johnson as a possibility when asked about the state of his offensive line.

I think Satele will prob. stay where he is. I was talking w/a friend of mine and suggested they move Satele over and put in Johnson at C but he said he knew Johnson has G experience and Satele will probably stay where he is. After reading that I think he's right.

 

If you thought Satele was struggling before this injury, he's going to look like a bum now.

Nope. I think people have been overstating his success or lack of success since he was drafted. IMO he plays out his contract at the position.

My statement was more relative to the fact that poor guard play can make a center look horrible. Looking down the pipeline at Kris Jenkins doesn't give me any confidence. By that time, everyone will have forgotten that our starting guards on not on the team. Satele = fall guy

There is a long line of offensive tackles becoming free agents this off season and that includes Marc Columbo. Carey will not see the lucrative contract here that he will see elsewhere. He is gone unless his desire to stay at home forces him to take less money. IMO - he is gone.

 

I feel terrible for Smiley.

Its the NFL. Guys get injured and put on the IR. Even with Smiley and Camarillo, we've done pretty well injury-wise.
