That's devastating. I was hoping since he was moving his arm a little after the play, it might have been minor. I feel for him and the team.

 

Did you see the play where he got hurt? That hit in that situation would dislocate ANY elbow on Earth.

 

I was hoping no more than 2 weeks. But I guess a month is better than 3 months. So, maybe after the bye.

 

What makes it worse is Miller sucks.

 

If you watch the replay is slow-motion, it was a freak accident. When a knee collides with the elbow, the knee will always win though. There is nothing fragile about that.

 

Nothing to do with fragility...that would put anybody out.

I was under the impression Miller was the #1 before Moreno was signed? Apparently not going by our depth and quality at RB and what we are seeing.

 

Not good folks. There is no prime mover in this offense now.

So there's actually a chance we'll be without Miller too Sunday? I mean I know he isn't a true #1 back and is frustrating...but that would still hurt.

 

I think we need to ensure that Damien Williams is ready to roll this week. Thankfully he has seen some time the last two games; as we are going to need him over the next 3 weeks or so. Williams to me is the better runner at this early stage - he at least provides some leg drive when he is out there. Miller just doesn't do much after contact and has some real issues in the passing game as well. I know we don't like to rely on rookies, but that is what we will have to do. Because if we try to rely on Miller we are in serious trouble. This team needs someone with some ability to move the pile and break some tackles.

we must still utilize Miller but he should between 10-12 touches a game on offense. Otherwise we are doomed to be facing 2nd and long if we ask him to carry the run game.

 

Shoot. Maybe the one guy on offense we couldn't afford to lose, as strange as that sounds. What a bummer.

 

He drags the team down with his lack of balance and hands, IMHO. I've been hearing how fast he is once in space for 3 years, and haven't seen it...except to see how fast he is to put his face in the grass.

 

I would be happy if miller could atleast make caches that i and most highschoolers can and did. No excuse for some of those drops. Sickening.

 

Lamar Miller gives you NO reason to believe that he will do nothing more than what he has done up to this point. He has been criminal in the passing game. Always falling down and tripping over himself. Dropping passes and not being able to turn a run upfield. He brings very little intensity to his gameband isva HUGE drop off from Moreno. Nothing he brings inspiresvany confidence at all.

 

Wow. This has been a real joy filled Sunday.

 

I have two words for you guys- Williams. Darkwa.

Miller just isn't confident enough to be an every-down back.

 

HUGE drop today and has been very disappointing. Had a chance to contribute with Moreno playing..Miller is less than mediocre without him. Who do we use in short yrd plays now? Lamar brings few big plays and NO Physicality to this team.

 

Without Moreno, the running game is going to be a major concern for the next month or until he returns.

Miller is nothing more than a change of pace type RB and is not a quality starting RB. Williams is a good third RB on the roster, but now he has to step up and be the second string RB.

Moreno brings far more to the position than any of the other backs on the roster. His loss is going to be felt severely by the offense and also the defense, because they will be on the field a lot more now that Moreno isn't there to prolong the time the offense is able to control the ball.
