The government of Puerto Rico has fired 22,000 employees and I'm one of them, I just don't know what to do, lost the will to live.

My best wishes to you in your loss. The sense of unknown can be very powerful.
The depression, anger, and dread you feel are very normal. Be careful you don't do something in the moment which affects the rest of your life. Review the job sites out there, the severance benifits including retraining you might be entitled to, and move forward. You have the support of your friends here and what ever other networks you might have formed. Use them, perhaps they have leads you have not thought about.
Hang in there, my friend!cnc66, dolphindebby and Phins28 like this. -
Any severance package? I hope so. Good luck, hopefully you will find something fast and get back on track.

Lots of good info and thoughts already in here. As mentioned we will give you all the moral you could ever need.
Times are tough, but that just means its time to hustle to better your opportunities.
There are quite a few good job networking sites on the net. Spend time in them and hopefully something good will come from it. -
I am sorry to hear this news. Just hang in there and I am sure you will find something that's probably even better.

Don't worry Be Happy...doesnt have the same ring to it anymore, I suspect....but you should be happy you are in a beautiful location to find a new opportunity.
