Some interesting info on Greg C, Hilliard, Greg Camarillo
I still think Hartline will start this season, maybe not on opening day, but he will start.Fin Fan In Cali, dolfan7171, Frumundah Finnatic and 1 other person like this. -

This hurts my Greg Camarillo theory

I still think Cam is gone.
Either that or London is out. -
London is a goner. Camarillo starts opposite Ginn. Hartline, Bess and Turner will battle throughout the season for the number 3 spot

Yeah, I also think London will be the odd man out if we're going with 5 WRs. And actually to me, 5 WRs makes sense since we're supposed to be a run first offense.
Camarillo? Probably the guy starting opposite Ginn for now. But who knows Hartline may yet win out. I could see Camarillo being traded if the price was right. You never can tell what a team will offer for a guy. No one would have guessed that someone would actually give up a 2 (and 7) for a Wes Welker. But I do not believe he's being actively shopped. I just can't see it. Right now we seem to be waiting/hoping for some of these WRs to step up and distinguish himself. Do you really want to give up the wrong one? So IMO looking to get rid of them now would seem to be pretty premature.adamprez2003 likes this. -

Aint a chance in hell Camarillo goes anywhere outside of a genuinely desperate team throwing picks around.

I've said it before and I will say it again, Camarillo is the best receiver on this team (right now) and would have been in the Pro Bowl discussion last year had he not got hurt.
He will start and he will prove all of you that doubt him and/or want to cut him in favor of a model wrong . . . again.
Yes, I am a big Camarillo fan, so I am a bit biased, I will admit that.gafinfan likes this. -

I also disagree that he would of been in the Pro Bowl discussion. -

I'd trade Greg C straight up for Yamon Figurs. -
i don't know many on this site who don't like CAM ... the problem is having too many 'like' WRs ... that's why CAM is the likely candidate to get moved ...
it is not an issue of moving CAM to keep London ... not a chance ... London just benefits IF that happens ... -

I don't think it's an accident that we have of them.
1. I think it's safe to assume that the people who evaluate talent here knew the kind of WRs Hartline and Turner are long before they were drafted.
2. It's also safe to say that they were well aware of the similarities shared by Camarillo, and Hartline, as well as what Bess and Ginn bring to the table.
3. Knowing all this they still showed little if any interest in acquiring any of those big name WRs. Not through trade, nor through FA.
4. Yet they also ignored Nicks, Brit, Robiskie, Massaquoi, etc in the draft.
I think we have this group because these are the guys that the team wanted.Den54 likes this. -
Here's the reality of both of their times as starters being extrapolated over 16 games-
Camarillo- 80 catches, 891 yards, 3 TDs
Bess- 84 catches, 960 yards, 0 TDs
