I got SF for free. Not sure ow much my package was otherwise.

 

I can see them doing this. I bet they have had cancellations in large numbers due to the state of the economy. What pisses me off is the fact that they refuse to offer streaming online. I would gladly pay for streaming but I not going to purchase a satellite just so I can subscribe to Ticket.

 

have you started paying for NFL sunday ticket yet? My first installment hasn't been billed to me yet, and I can't threaten to cancel until it does. Kind of odd, last year, they started billing me in late spring.

 

I havent got a bill for it yet. I dont remember when it came last season though...

 

sooooo if i havent signed up for it yet......(it will be my first time) should i call and be like "im thinking about it but its too much?!" haha

 

That's not on DirecTV. That's the NFL's call.

If you live outside the country, you can get the games streaming in HD.

well i was thinkin of bluffing and saying "im thinking about getting nfl ticket.....how much?" they give price "oh damn.....i want it so bad, have paid on time every month for a year...including multiple ufc ppv's.......but thats out of a my price range"

and hopefully they say "well chris....lemme see what i can do for you...."

and BOOM hit me with the offer :lol:

 

you can watch games online this year. it was in the mailer they sent me.

I got them down to $149.99 :) First, she told me that if I cancelled, I'd lose out on their "lowest" renewal price of $44.99 a month. I told her it was too much. She first offered to take $10.00 a month off then I told them if that was the lowest they could go, to go ahead and cancel my subscription and BINGO, she offered to take $20.00 a month off. :)

Did it this morning and it worked. $149.00 for Sunday Ticket this year with free Superfan. :woot:

 

Even free SuperFan would be good to me. I need that HD. I'll have to give this a shot.

 

I called them and just asked them if they could help me out and she said sure. They knocked of 100. I asked about the Superfan and she told me that it was free this year since all games are in HD. She told me that this is the first year that SF was made free.

wish i could do this but im at college football season...really wish they had an offer like MLB where you can watch games on your computer because i would do that in a heart beat, but they dont so im off to finding a radio link or a stream on justin.tv

 

Check out the computer thing again, I THINK they are doing something this year where you can watch games on your computer.

I had a 5 minute convo with the dude and that was it...esy as can be. But yea its broken up into monthly installments although if u asked for more of a discount to pay upfront you may get it.

Either way helluva deal cause I would die without the ticket.
