Can't listen at work :(
If anyone would be so kind as to provide cliff-notes I'd appreciate it... -
How many times did Omar say that he hasn't seen Tannehill KILL yet?
Although I must say that I do agree with Omar that asking Tannehill to match Andy Dalton's numbers is neither unreasonable nor should it be all that difficult and that if he doesn't then we may have a problem. -
are you sure that Renshaw is a super dolphins homer ? i mean he bashed miller for being to small, gray is dancing after 7 steps, martin isn´t any good either...lol

Some precious quotes from our beloved Omar K.
"I don't talk quarterback because it's not worth my time" - Sure fooled me.
"Dolphins fans are not educated enough to evaluate quarterbacks" - Good thing we have good ol' Omar to educate us.ToddPhin, xphinfanx, MikeHoncho and 1 other person like this. -
Omar may be right on Tannyhill but I think he is wrong on Miller but we shall see , very soon.

Unfortunately not privy of practices, basing a debate on what an unqualified beat reporter says about improvement on a player is impossible, he may not know how to simulate practice to game situation.

Ahh.. An F6F-5. That pic alone makes the almost half of the conversation I listened to with OK and whoeverthehell that was on the radio. I am glad I don't have to put up with THAT up here!
That is a great pic of a great plane! Ain't pretty, but rugged as a cast iron wash tub and absolutely lethal when it met the A6M-2 through 5. Most folks don't know it had a bigger wing area then a P-47. Go Grumman Iron Works!gafinfan likes this. -
Omar lost me a few years back when he thought that someone playing a 3-technique meant that 1 player was responsible for playing 3 gaps.

Seems to be a tad of an ego maniac. What led him to believe he "is educated" enough to evaluate QBs? What are his credentials?
Probably zero.HULKFish likes this. -

Didn't hear him say he's doomed. Seems like he doesn't know one way or another.

This guy gets more threads than a cheap suit. Really really discussed ad nauseam. I mean yesterday he goes on twitter with his full disclosure of Tannehill (after Ryan has one BAD practice) and then he hits the air waves within an hour of that. It's as if the whole thing was pre-meditated. Naaa... can't be. Sure, he's never been a fan of Tannehill's and has been consistent with that, but after RT's worst practice of the summer, you'd think he'd wait for repeat performances (back to back bad practices) before shooting his load.

Best thing I ever did was to unfollow him on twitter.... Threads like this make me realize how good a move it was...

I'm not sold on Tannehill, think it is to soon to say, but never would I take his opinion seriously.
OMark is pretty much a self deluded tool of a reporter who knows very little about the game of football and who surprisingly has little inside sources within the roster after years of covering the team.
INOW, he'd not last a month in a media market that took it's NFL team more seriously.dolfan22, djphinfan, Larry Little and 1 other person like this. -

I am not a fan of Omar and his attitude but as I stated earlier, I do agree with his basic point that if Tannehill doesn't reach Andy Dalton levels at a minimum this year that we need to really consider what we're doing moving forward.
Now, I think (hope) that Tannehill will pass those levels this year and prove to be a franchise QB, but stating that we haven't seen it yet, and that there should be a minimum bar of performance for a franchise QB to clear is completely reasonable IMOdolfan22, Stitches and Stringer Bell like this. -

Who is "not educated enough" to evaluate football as he states?
Idiot.
It's 100 times worse for him to be uneducated on any aspect of the game as he is getting paid to be a sports reporter.
If he's doing his job and being a professional within his craft things like that SHOULD be unacceptable.
The average fan does not have that responsibility.

If Omar don't like him he will probably end his career in the HOF.

That said, I'm not sure that he's "a master" at generating articles or tweets to mobilize these people OR if he's just one of the oblivious masses that happens to be paid for being oblivious and relating well to his own.
Regardless of which one it is, his assessment of what a 3 technique was is still great entertainment and unacceptable for anyone "professionally reporting" on the game of football. Hence the term.... Idiot.MrClean likes this. -

Hopefully Tanny turns in a great season and we don't have to worry about this. -

The only phins writer I bother with is Barry Jackson, especially with Volin now in Patsies land.
I rarely click on a link to anything related to OmarK, or Salguero for that matter, they are just to incompetent for me to bother with, and report no real information, so why bother?shula_guy likes this. -
I hate his kill comments because he gives Brady credit all the time for leading his team to a FG. I believe Ryan did that at least two times to win the game but our kicker missed them. WOuld those not count as kills or does he have to kick the ball as well. Seriously, the reason he doesn't want to talk about Qbs is he has no clue about them. Garrard was amazing, Moore is better than Tannehill. Moore would have lead us to more victories last year, sure he may have but Tannehill getting a year of experience will lead us to more over the long haul. He loves to stir it up. I had to unfollow him because of his know it all attitude though he has never coached or played the game in anyway and uses our guys on this site, CK, to do his work for him all the time.
