Parker's just catching everything, based on all reports. We'll see how he does against Grimes later on, but it's looking like this pick was worth it.
Phillips showing his strength, but he did acknowledge he takes plays off, which is worrying (from 0:20):

Man, I am so ****ing excited about Parker. The dude catches everything and he attacks the ball in the air. Such a major advantage with his size. He's going to be a major weapon.

I remember writing about how hard Parker was flashing two years ago..pretty cool that he's a dolphin..
don't believe we've ever had a receiver as talented as him in our uniform..Fin4Ever and Ohio Fanatic like this. -
could really end up being a dynamic backfield. when was the last time we could say that? probably Ricky.Fin4Ever, unluckyluciano and SICK like this. -
I can't remember being this optimistic in the off-season. The difference is, it's not a charade like bringing in a Daunte Culpepper. Tannehill is a grown over 3 years talent from a rookie, so we know the basement and speculate on the ceiling.
-Add the big potential for the WR group (especially considering the bad fits Wallace and Hartline were)
-Add the best D line we've had since J Taylor-D Gardener-T Bowens-T Armstrong
-The hope that D Thomas won't be our LG and Billy Turner can at least be an average RG
-the duo that will be Miller and Ajayi instead of Miller and Thomas
-underappreciated upgrade of Cameron over Clay (if he can stay healthy)RickyNeverInhaled, Sceeto, xphinfanx and 3 others like this. -

if you want to debate that then I'm all ears, find me another young receiver that is as gifted, not just athletically, but body control and hand eye coordination that tops Devonte Parker.?
i see that you linked paul warfield..he was a graceful athlete no question?, is that it?Ronnie Bass likes this. -
How can you not love this guy. Jay reminds me so much of Marcus Lattimore, especially off the field. Super confident yet humble, and really glad to be a Miami Dolphin. Check out this interview if you haven't already. Gotta love that slight english accent too. It's about as unique as it gets in the NFL.

I'm not saying it's impossible that he could go down as the most talented ever (or as talented). I'm saying it's far too early to declare that.Fin4Ever likes this. -
As nice as it is, let's really remember that in the end everyone wins their matchup with air. Yes we can see athleticism etc but when the pads come on is when we should really pay attention. Training camp will be the true test and that is two months. Anything in shorts is nice an all but that's all it really is.

Talent =/= production, is what you're getting at, I think. One can be the most talented, even without playing one regular season game.

Watch these two highlights and tell me you're not giddy at the potential improvement this year. Upgrade at WR corps, upgrade at #2 RB, upgrade at TE and Oline (potentially).
-We really need guard play to solidify
-We really need someone to step up to #2 CB slot now that our nickel is solidified
-We really need our depth to improve (which on paper seems to have happened)

[EDIT] and I've been a Wallace basher for awhile, but you have to admit, he had some nice catches last year when you least expected it. he didn't live up to his potential, but when Tannehill puts the ball there for him near the endzone, he had some nice TDs. having said that, with Parker and Stills I expect 2x the number of highlights in 2015
