WOW! WOW! This is not confirmed but i am hearing Miami Dolphins have started "talking" to Braylon Edwards (His price just went up Jets)
From Twitter, take it what it's worth!

Well, he and Henne had one great season together for the Wolverines. To sign him, on top of Bush, well, Henne would have no excuses this season. I'd be down for us getting him. He'd have to be an upgrade over the slower whiter Ginn from the other OSU.
-
Incarcerated Bob "reported" that his "sources" said Nnamdi to the Jets was a done deal in principle. And then Nnamdi went to Philly.

This isn't a bad idea. Anytime you can reunite a QB with a very talented guy he's thrown to for years, you explore it. I'd say the same about Manningham if he was available.

I'd rather see them upgrade at Guard. I'm kinda curious what Hartline brings in year 3 with Gates pushing him.

If this happens I will be happy. Then henne has no excuses and then if he fails any qb would love to come here
-
It would be funny. First the Jets went after Brandon Marshall and he ends up here and then the Jets go after Braylon, now we could have both.....

Incarcerated Bob?
I don't understand why folks follow this guy. Proven BS artist.
That said, if this happened we'd be absolutely stacked outside. Straight beast mode.
I question whether he could handle this town though. -
I'm all for bringing in known names, at any position. Edwards hands can be suspect, but I'd be willing to overlook that with the Wolverine past between the two. Strong 2 that would keep the opposite side of the field from Marshall certainly busy with his size and route running. Splash in Hartline, Bess, Gates, and Bush, and you're damn right....Henne, the table is set sir, lets see what you can eat up!!!!

i absolutley think we need to explore the option. One being hes not a bad player, two being he wouldnt be a jet. Every jets fan i know has completely casted Edwards off as a reason for their success but that offense, and sanchez specifically, will not be as good without Edwards and brad smith (Who already signed with the Bills)
-
Puts Holmes in the unfamliar position of not having a counterpart on the other side of the field, also.....
Which puts more pressure on Sanchez....ga' he is so easy to root against. I lived in NY this past season, and saw a lot of NYJ games when I didn't feel like going out.....spit at the TV on multiple occassions -
Plus hopefully we dont have to keep seeing footage of him making that TD catch against us. I just wonder if there would be a dispute between Marshall and Edwards for amount of balls thrown their way.
-
I'd explore it. Despite his inconsistant hands (he was much better holding onto the ball last year though), the guy knows how to get open, and deep.
-
It'd probably be a good thing- letting the whole organization to THROW THE F'N BALL!!!! Especially in the redzone.....Carpenter should not icing his leg after every game this year... -
-
-
Could two divas peacefully coexist on one offense? Would there be enough passes to keep both Edwards and Marshall happy? -
-
It'd be nice to have talent top to bottom going Marshall, Edwards, Bess, Hartline, Gates though.dolfan7171 and djphinfan like this. -
