RT @MiamiDolphins: Stephen Ross in the locker room following the victory: I believe in what we're building, Coach Philbin is coming back next year.

To be honest, while I'm not a huge fan of Philbin, the one I REALLY want gone is Coyle. I'd like to keep Lazor, I like what Tannehill is doing with him, and I think losing Philbin might have lost lazor.

Packers maybe though. -
You can find me in the NBA Thread then. No point of even discussing Phins Football.

Ross just proved what a terrible owner he really is. He made a snap decision based on an emotional win against a bad team in a meaningless game. Whether it's the wrong or right decision is a moot point. Ross is a terrible owner who has no ****ing clue.

Ross really is as dumb as we all think he is. While his loyalty to Philbin, and desire for continuity seem to make sense, his talk in the offseason of the teams goals to be in the playoffs, then failing to meet those goals yet again make his endorsement of Philbin today seem completely idiotic.

I wouldn't even fault Ross if he made this decision if the Dolphins were to beat the Jets next week. If he considered 9-7 improvement and wanted continuity, I wouldn't fault him. But to make a decision like this based on emotion is terrible. This team is ****ed with Ross.

Just read this as I'm about to walk into Home Depot, will need to stay away from the sharp tools aisle

It sounds like Ross never even considered a coaching change. That is ownership malpractice.

No one knows if this was an emotional decision by Ross or not. It might have been, but it might have been the criteria he decided on before the game.

LoL, the AlbatROSS strikes again.
we are screwed again by our owner.
Trying to count up Ross' off field front office blunders, compared to Philbin's on field coaching blunders.
