I haven't posted here in a minute. First and foremost, the Jets did not have the season we fans expected them too. As for this past season, I did NOT have Super Bowl aspirations like I did in 2010 and 2011.
Since the ending of our season, I think our off-season has states on a positive note. Firing both Tanny and TS was a great start. The hiring of John Idzik and Marty Mormhinweg gives me hope. Since we will run the WCO, I predict the Dirty Sanchez will be wearing another uniform. I'm not a big fan of him, but the Jets did not build around him like other teams do to further develop him.
I'm hoping we can get Jarvis Jones and a young QB maybe in the 2nd or 3rd round. I also think the Jets will attempt to trade Sanchez and attempt to trade for Matt Flynn.
Mark my words.. The Jets will be back! The New York Jets will be back. Darrelle Revis and Santonio Holmes will be back to help this team get back into the playoffs. Also, our cap situation is not as bad as people think. If we cut Jason Smith, Bart Scott, Calvin Pace, and Eric Smith, this will put us in a great situation.

Revis back and Holmes helps. We don't know what the new Gm Idzik will do yet or Marty Mornhinweg. How will the relationship with Rex be? Time will tell.
I still think this upcoming season would be an adjustment period. Will see how it goes. I'll laugh now for sure, and I'll laugh later.:wink2: -

My prediction is..rebuild, not being biased, Cap Hell meets a mismatched Offense and a D that really needs Vet Defenders that will be manned by Rookies and youngsters. -

The Jets were relevant twice in recent history, when they made it back to the AFC Championship game 2 years in a row, thats it. If the Patriots played in a division that actually had decent teams, do you think they would still have they same regular season success? They might just be a product of a weak divsion, we will never know. But recent history shows that none of the AFC East teams have been relevant for a long time.

Lets not lump all of us Jets fans together, i have seen this guys posts and that is not what i think. We will be back, but not for awhile, first step was bringing in new blood and not promoting from within, i do not like the Marty hire but what can you do? Give his coaching staff a year and then bring in your own staff. I say that we will start being competitive in 2015, sucks but oh well. In that time we will see the Pats continue to win the East, and then Miami should take the helm with RT leading the way.ASOT, shula_guy and MikeHoncho like this.
