This seems to confirm what's been reported the last couple days. Pitts unlikely to make it past Atlanta at pick #4.
ESPN's Dianna Russini reports that "as of now," Florida TE Kyle Pitts would be the Falcons' selection at No. 4 overall.
Per Russini, the Falcons have "taken calls from just about everyone," but that "there hasn't been an offer good enough to trade back." Russini reports they are "willing to keep listening." This would seem to be the Falcons begging for better offers for a spot that's the highest anyone could move up for on Thursday. Although a special talent, Pitts would be a luxury pick for a roster with massive holes on both sides of the ball.

Assuming no trades in top 5 and it goes like this...
1) Lawrence
2) Wilson
3) Jones
4) Pitts
5) Sewell
means Chase should fall to us.KeyFin likes this. -
Chase/Smith -> Najee -> Tackle/edge -> Tackle/edge this is probably what i would do i know no one wants a rb at 18 but meh that dude is legit and a complete player.
I'll be at the stadium for the draft party so hoping for a good time. Honestly the only way the dolphins will piss me off is if they trade back and go defense with both first round picks. -

And who knows, sitting at #7 maybe another teams comes a calling? :wink2: -

Pitts/Chase or Sewell and Phillips. Make it happen Grier

It didn’t slow him down at all last year as he looked like a beast... He also pressed 26 reps on bench I believe.
but it’s a little concerning.
Also I’m pretty damn pumped!!Last edited: Apr 29, 2021 -
I think we only take Pitts or Sewell at #6. If Atlanta takes Pitts, there will be two QBs available and I think the phone's going to blow up. Especially if the Bengals take Chase at #5.
So, if Atlanta takes a QB, I think we'll take Pitts or Sewell and if the Falcons take Pitts, we're dealing. If the Bengals don't trade - and I don't expect them to - I think the price will be too high to pass up. -
Pennington's Limp Arm likes this.

Home after some overtime ended blessedly early lol. Let's goooooooooo!
Anyone have any bold predictions? I think there's a chance Devonta Smith lasts until 18. -
-
Surtain Jr. rocking the soft pink suit lol, and Waddle with a two-tone thing going on. I liked Slater's Blue with white stripes.

I've eaten too much already and am now struggling. Doesn't help that it's 1am here.
Please no drafting RBs tonight Fins. -
Why the hell is there a concert still going on? Thought it was draft time?
-
If we draft at WR...Smith, Waddle, Chase and Etienne or Harris at RB with our first 2 draft picks, I will consider tonight a resounding success.
This is what I want. This is what we NEED!!!! A DYNAMIC WR threat and a DYNAMIC threat at RB, we will have a BALANCED offense and be in contention for years to come offensively.
If nothing else, with this balance on offense, we will know for sure whether or not Tagovailoa is the quarterback for the future.Phin McCool and Dol-Fan Dupree like this. -

J e s t s!!! Mock it up

Out of interest how big do people have the gap between Wilson and the others available at 2?
-
My ideal situation the first 2 rounds is
6. Chase
18. Quitty Paye
36. Jamal Williams (assuming harris and Etienne are gone by 36)
50. Quin Minors (or Dickerson..either way best center available).
If we could trade back and grab Smith with some good compensation im good with that too.
Going to cross my fingers. -
