I just have to laugh at those who hate Brady. All he does is everything he can to win games. He was a late round draft pick who overcame the odds and turned himself into one of the greatest QB's in the history of the NFL.

He has led his team to the playoffs every year he has been their starting QB. He also has three Super bowl wins as the QB of the Patriots. The real reason Dolphin fans hate him is because he plays for the Patriots and not for the Dolphins. All that hate would be love and adulation from Dolphin fans if he played in Miami and not for New England.

I always root against Brady because I always root for the Patriots to lose. That doesn't mean that I don't respect him as one of the greatest QB's in the NFL and wish that the Dolphins had drafted him in the 5th round and prevented Belichick from getting him in the 6th round. Of course with the lousy head coaches the Dolphins have had in the Brady era, he probably would have been wasted as a QB on the Dolphins.

I think he has developed into a good QB but he was in the right place at the right time and was lucky that Belicheck was his coach. Belicheat put Brady into position to win and then later on do well as a QB.

I guess you must have hated Marino then. He was always very arrogant to fans when he was in public during his playing days. He constantly yelled at and berated his teammates during games. As we all know now, he also had no trouble stepping out on his wife.

To me, the behavior of Marino and Brady are irrelevant in regards to how productive they are when they play(ed) QB. I root for the team and the players during the game and I really don't care what their behavior is once they leave the field.

I respect the play of both Brady and Marino on the field and since I don't associate with them off the field, they both can be total a holes, for all I care.

 

I could care less if he wears a dress when he goes out with his wife. That still doesn't prevent him from being one of the greatest QB's in the history of the NFL.

In fact if he was the QB of the Dolphins and wore this same outfit, you all would be praising him for be part of the South Beach scene.

Isn't that the job of a great HC? Also based on the history of Belichick, he has no problem getting rid of players while they are still productive. Yet he is smart enough to realize that right now and the last few years, he has needed Brady far more than Brady needs him.

Without Brady and with the very average defense they have had the past few years, the Patriots would have been a mediocre team, even with Belichich as the HC. Every young QB needs a coach to believe in him as Belichick did in Brady early in his career. It is then up to the QB to develop his skills to become the best QB he can be. This is what Brady has done during his time with the Patriots and that is why I respect him as a player in the NFL.
