I think my draft board is starting to shape up but it focuses a lot more on guys that will be drafted in the top 100 than it has in previous years.
It got me thinking that perhaps I should have a separate board for UDFA interests.
Let's do something relatively simple. What guys are out there that you think may go undrafted, yet you'd be interested if they did?
Some other guys...
RB/QB B.J. Daniels, South Florida
RB Latavius Murray, Central Florida
RB Cameron Marshall, Arizona State
RB Lonnie Pryor, Florida State
TE Phil Lutzenkirchen, Auburn
TE Justice Cunningham, South Carolina
TE/OT Levine Toilolo, Stanford
WR Zach Rogers, Tennessee
WR Chad Bumphis, Mississippi State
WR Jheranie Boyd, North Carolina
OT Vinston Painter, Virginia Tech
DE Wes Horton, USC
LB Vince Williams, Florida State
LB Jake Knott, Iowa State
LB Tom Wort, Oklahoma
LB Travis Johnson, San Jose State
LB/DB Kenny Tate, Maryland
DB Corey Broomfield, Mississippi State
DB/LB Ray Ray Armstrong, Miami
Probably missing some guys but you get the gist.

I got 3 guys in my sig that I think could go undrafted that I'd be interested in:
Joe Kruger, DL, Utah
Mark Harrison, WR, RU
Justin Brown, WR, Okla
Additionally:
Cordian Hagans, DT, Louisiana-Lafayette (Had a real good SR year as I understand, and was once on LSUs team as a high recruit iirc. Not sure what lead to the transfer)
DJ Harper, HB, Boise St
Colby Cameron, QB, LA Tech
MarQueis Gray, TE/H-back, Minnesota (was everything for the Gophers, would love to see him get a shot at a spot)
Caleb Schreibeis, DE, Montana St (this is based strictly on what I've read, I have only seen one Montana St game last year and wasn't watching anyone in particular)
Michael Mauti, ILB, PSU (possibly going undrafted after two straight year with torn ACLs, but when healthy he is really, really good)
Dan Molls, ILB, Toledo (was a tackling machine at Toledo even though their overall defense is generally poor)
Archibald Barnes, OLB, Vanderbilt (to be honest although I saw him play a few times as a SR, I want him because of his 1st name)
Melvin White, CB, Lousiana-Lafayette (I loved Bill Bentley last year, and while White isn't the same player, he was pretty productive even in Bentley's absence although no picks as a SR. Better size than Bentley.)
Adam Bice, OL, Akron (Why? Because I'm a homer, and he's not a bad athlete for his size IMO. Might be able to play G.)dolfan22 likes this. -

I think Jheranie Boyd is a guy who slipped through the cracks a little bit and while I'm not predicting the same kind of wild success it wouldn't shock me if he turned out to be like a Bryce Brown.
Former high recruit, known for the longest time as one of the fastest men in college football. Heading into 2012 he had 40 catches for 816 yards and 12 TDs. That's 12 TDs on only 40 catches, and a 20.4 yards per catch average in an NFL style offense. Because he was such an athlete he also had 37 runs for 248 yards and 1 TD.
His shining moment came against the LSU Tigers in Week 1 of the 2010 season. This is a game I did a lot of work on because of T.J. Yates. He beat everyone, including Mo Claiborne...6 catches for 221 yards and 1 TD. He just couldn't repeat that kind of success on a team with Dwight Jones (who could've been a good NFL player IMO if he'd stuck with football) and Erik Highsmith.
He started out 2012 with a nice 35 yard TD catch against Elon but he took a leg injury soon after and it pretty much ended his year with all but a goose egg on the stat sheet.
To quote something on his official school bio, something I believe jim1 has brought up before,

DT Abry Jones, UGA
TE Zach Sudfeld, Nevada
WR Jaron Brown, Clemson
WR Rodrick Rumble, Idaho St
G Omoregie Uzzi, Ga Tech
CB Greg Reid, FSU/Valdosta St
OLB Jonathan "Tig" Willard, Clemson
DT Chris Jones, Bowling Green
DE Quanterus Smith, Western Ky
C Dalton Freeman, Clemson
If DJ Harper for some crazy reason goes undrafted he should be a priority. -
Quanterus Smith is so popular that I bet he gets drafted. But otherwise thanks for the list.

Jaron Brown 6'2 204. Highly impressive numbers.
4.40 forty
6.82 3 cone
4.07 shuttle
10'04 broad
35.5 vertical
17 bench
Nice athleticism. NFL toughness & strength. Good hands & body control. Chain-moving ability. Can make plays downfield, in traffic, and highpoint. Will adjust for the tough catch. nice fit for our offense. Has some playmaking ability & definitely offers upside.
Overshadowed by Sammy Watkins & DeAndre Hopkins, and had to compete for snaps w/ 2 high recruits (Charone Peake, Martavis Bryant). Sleeper who needs some reps and extra coaching but potential is there.
Caught 31 passes for 424 yards & 3 TD as a sophomore before Watkins & Co arrived.
Check out this awesome one-handed grab with RAC in the first clip!

Obviously I am a homer, but 2 Central Florida guys should be considered:
RB Latavius Murray - 6'3 223lb, 4.45 40, 22 bench press, CUSA 1st team, 3 fumbles in his college career, good pass catcher with 27 receptions in 2012, 2011 team MVP

FS Kemel Ishmael - 5'11 206lb, CUSA DPOY, CUSA 1st team, 368 career tackles, 2012 - 124 tack, 3INT, 1 sack, 4 PBU.

Latavius Murray I already had on radar. Kemal Ishmael is good for a 4.65 player. But his speed does scare me a bit.

Jeff Tuel on the other hand, I'll gladly leave him for you. ;) -

Anthony Rashad White - DT - Michigan State
Russell Shepard - WR - LSU
Zach Boren - FB/LB - Ohio State
Devon Ramsay - FB - North Carolina (If he checks out medically, which is a MONUMENTAL if).
Lamar Mady - G/C - Youngstown State
George Winn - RB - Cincinnati
Chris Pantale - TE - Boston College
MarQueis Gray - QB/TE/Athlete - Minnesota
Marcus Cromartie - CB - Wisconsin
Brodrick Brown - CB - Oklahoma State -
Note on Jheranie Boyd was well timed. Measured today at 6'1" and 187 lbs, ran in the mid 4.4's. Witnesses say his 41.5 inch vertical is actually understated because he touched to top of the vertec equipment. Had an 11'0" broad jump.
Basically he is the athlete he's always been billed as. Explosive.Bpk likes this. -

Kenny Tate (LB - formerly Safety) - Too big and lacked hips for Safety, but sudden enough to get sacks, good hands for a defender... could very nicely fit into the types of LBs we are collecting. Good coverage backer, special teamer.
Mike Catapano (DE/OLB) - Not sure if he has the juice to make it as a special teamer. Seemed like a leader and impact player in his film, decent Shrine game reports. http://www.sbnation.com/2013-nfl-draft/2013/1/17/3888382/east-west-shrine-game-2013-practice-report
Maybe CK could add to this, since he was at the Shrine practices.
Joe Kruger (DE/LB) To be honest, I love his brother, but am less impressed with Joe.
A little Off Topic, but later rounders:
Terry Hawthorne
BW Webb (if he makes it to the 4th round) -
great stuff i would like to know if we could make a thread with sleepers as well

I tried to like Catapano. He just didn't do anything that had me excited. Bass and Schreibis came closer to doing that but Travis Johnson was the most impressive because of his ability to get off the blocks faster than anyone else.
Nickell Robey will not go undrafted IMO. He's too good. -
-
Lonnie Pryor would probably be the biggest shock to me if he didn't get drafted. But guys like Vince Williams get left by the wayside every year. He's an aggressive thumper that wasn't even trusted by his college team to defend the pass. As for Levine Toilolo, though he has some unique qualities to him, his hands might just be so bad that teams feel they're beyond repair. Some teams may decide his best bet is to gain weight and play offensive tackle. That's a big gamble.

Who are the best olb's who are 50/50 for UDFA. Might trade down in the GML league and snag a couple for depth.

Jawanza Starling. I don't understand how TJ McDonald is draftable but Starling isn't.
-
I don't know if this guy's going to be a UDFA or what but holy cow. Where the hell did Luke Wilson of Rice come from?? The "other guy" at Rice (2nd fiddle to Vance McDonald)...comes out to his pro day 6053 and 251 lbs, runs a 4.46??? A 38 inch vertical? Did 23 bench reps? A 10'2" broad jump? A 4.28 second shuttle and 7.03 cone???
Christ on a popsicle stick. That's some ****ing plutonium right there. May have taken a back seat to Vance McDonald this year but he does have 9 TDs and 986 yards on 78 catches in his career so it's not like he's a COMPLETE nobody. Mackey Award Watch List and all that jazz, believe he's all conference honorable mention.dolfan32323 and ToddPhin like this. -
Luke Wilson's a Canadian born guy. Already been drafted by the Toronto Argos. Also a baseball guy, plays minor league ball for the Toronto Blue Jays. Wonder if he still does that. I have a buddy that works for the Blue Jays over in Dunedin.

Looks like we might can add this guy to our UDFA target list:
