Yeah, unfortunately it is a strictly online game. They had a single player campaign mode in the works but decided to scrap it before they released the game. That said, its still by far my favorite game.

If you don't mind me asking, why don't you play online? No access? Or just not your thing?

Hard to aim guns? The rifle locks on once you put the crosshairs on someone. Which ones are you referring to? The binoculars are my 2nd favorite weapon behind the mines. Hint: if you see or hear the binoculars coming take cover, its an airstrike so if your under something you'll be safe.

There absolutely is a learning curve. Try to stay on the lvl 1 or 2 servers. They are rank restricted and will keep you with the other noobs. :tongue:

Trust me once you put some time in you'll get the hang of it and start smoking people.

 

First mistake, using the pistol. :lol: That thing worthless. I use the knife more than the pistol.

I play CTF more than anything. When you log into a game the server type and level is in the name of the server along with the map size. Level 1 being the easiest and 4 being the hardest.

 

Good Luck with that one bro. Definitely the hardest one I've had to get yet. My next rank up requires 5 air to air machine gun kills, yikes.

Some advice for the recruiting ribbon, Cluster Bombs and TOW missiles are your friend(s). :up:

The Patch will be free. New weapons, fixed bugs, etc....

Operation Broken Mirror will probably be the same as Omega Dawn was, about $8 for the new map and vehicle.

 

Omega Dawn is pretty cool.

The map is HUGE.

The Dropship is a beast, very hard and awkward to fly though. Has some really powerful guns on it though. It can also pick up a tank or jeep and carry it.

Operation Broken Mirror April 17th

* 10 layouts on a brand new winter battlefield, Vaporfield Glacier.
* 2 new Armored Personnel Carriers (Chernovan and Eucadian styles).
* 10 bonus layouts for battlefields from the original game so that you can play with the APCs.

 

Awesome features right here...

* APCs act as mobile spawn points for your team so you can setup field bases, help coordinate ground assaults, and spawn directly into them as another player is driving them around.
* When you spawn into an APC, your troop is rewarded with an additional weapon based on an internal loot-table.
