We have had their number lately.
Even with Tua out and some problems with our pass defense… this is as good of a matchup as we could hope for to get back on track.
Zach Wilson isn’t exactly Allen/Lamar/Burrow.
Make Teddy a game manager and get the ball into the hands of the playmakers near the line of scrimmage. I think we can still beat the Jesters comfortably.
Big game to see how the team answers adversity and game plans without Tua.
Fins Up!

Man that Bengals loss was really tough. Had Tua not gone down we probably win that (barely maybe, but we had them). Thankfully Jets are one of the few teams we likely beat even with Bridgewater. We absolutely need Tua back by the Vikings game though.
Anyway, 4-1 coming up!
If we lose this I won't be happy at all. It's the easier part of our schedule and we're in a race for the division and we can't afford to lose games we should win (also would be double unhappy because it's the Jets). -
Jets win 23-17. Bridgewater throws three picks, one of them a pick-six, and two TDs.

Yeah, what would you expect him to say? -
Hooligan, vmarcilfan75 and Mexphin like this.

He's a coach. Part of his job is to stay optimistic in front of the media for the sake of the team. I'm not saying there's a better backup QB we could have gotten at the time (unless we were willing to trade for Garoppolo, and that would have made Tua paranoid), but it is what it is. Bridgewater is nowhere near as accurate as Tua. He can run better, but he's not that fast anymore. -
I think this is the best Jets team in a while. Not quite sure what to expect with Teddy playing for us and Wilson still knocking the rust off.
I'll go 27-24 Fins. -
I think this is a low scoring affair but we come out on top 16-10
-
Still not sold on Wilson, but their receiving corps is pretty scary, especially without Jones and a hobbled X. Burrow shredded the backups last game; the pass rush HAS to be better or Wilson and co. might have a big day.
With that being said, Miami 24-21. -
Canter is Howard’s agent.
Not sure I like the use of the word ‘severely’. -
Xavien Howard is inactive.
-
Everyone is on the Jets because Wilson had a good 4th quarter last week. That's all it takes. For Tua, it needs to be 29 games in a row.
Defensive line and Holland are gonna have to play out of their minds today. -
No reason not to. Bridgewater is not going to do anything for us. The D will do the best it can, shorthanded, but they haven't gotten much of a pass rush till now and I don't see them suddenly developing one. Wilson's going to pick the secondary apart and without Tua, we aren't going to be matching score for score. -
Nice stop early on

Zach Wilson sucks.

Unreal.
