I hated A.I. I didn't care about any character except that there were many characters I didn't like. That would be fine except that I think some of those were characters I was supposed to like or at least identify with in some way. My overall feeling at the end of the movie was that I was glad it was over and I felt like I'd wasted my time. I didn't feel like I learned anything or that any interesting questions about the world or the human condition were brought up or explored in any kind of an enjoyable way. I'm not sure if that makes it a movie I hate or a candidate for the worst movie.

Ouch. High expectations are a killer bro. Sounds like you wanted this movie to change your life.

Cabin Boy. Chris Elliott (was never much of a fan if his anyway). Not sure if its THE worst but it is indeed close

Jaws 3 in 3d was aweful and probably the worst sequel ever made. Certainly in relation to the original epic. Caddysack 2 rivals.

See, your problem was not focusing on the right part of that movie. If you retitle it, "I know what your boobs did last summer" and focus on that, the movie wasn't half bad :pointlol:

In recent memory, GI Joe was pretty bad.

I'd have to dredge through some pretty traumatic memories to uncover the WORST movie I've ever seen, but a few that stand out clearly on the surface are The Shootist with the great John Wayne and The Gauntlet with Clint Eastwood and the skeletal Sondra Locke.

From recent piles of ****: Max Payne. Two ****ing hours I'll never get back.

    Max Payne was god awful.

I couldn't believe how little shooting this movie had. That is what the game is about!

Another awful recent flick: The Dead Girl.

It was like dredging the bottom of a river polluted with raw sewage and being forced to eat what came up in the net.

I agree with Bill. Pearl Harbor is the worst movie ever made. From the convoluted story, to the acting, and most importantly to the utter bastardization and disrespect that piece of **** movie gave to the most profound event in our history and all the heroes that lived and died there. No movie could be worse, because no movie dropped the ball that badly about something so important.

Not at all. I didn't go in with any expectations. I didn't know much about the movie other than Spielberg was the director. As for expectations, I just wanted to be entertained in some way, like most any movie. An interesting story, interesting characters, interesting questions, something. It failed at all of those and instead provided a parade of distasteful characters in an unimaginative plot, making annoying and often despicable choices. There was nobody to relate to or care about. By the end, I didn't care how it came out. I didn't want things to turn out well for any of the characters. But I also didn't care enough about any of the characters to hope for retribution or punishment either. IMO that is what makes a horrible movie. At the end all I cared about was that it was over.

That is an excellent example and certainly has to be in the running for worst movie of all time.

Horrible plot. Horrible acting. Horrible effects. Horrible 3-D. Zero plausibility. Horrible decision by Sea World. I mean they actually let the movie be filmed there with their name, and the movie was all about people being killed while the head of Sea World (Lou Gossett Jr.) risked everyone's life to make money. Brilliant.

The Thin Red Line would have won had I not been 'fortunate' enough to watch Solaris...

He couldn't even make Kate Beckinsdale look hot. I didn't find her hot until Underworld.

Here is another nominee. Robocop 3.
