Assuming of course, for the sake of discussion only, that the Dolphins don't win the Super Bowl on the jesters home field, which former fin(z) have the best shot at a ring this year? Who are you rooting for like I was rooting for Sam Madison vs the patsies?
Here's the list I can come up with:
Ill start with my pick. Ted Ginn w the Panthers. Partly because they'll have to beat the Seahacks to get there. And I like deangelo. And Ginn is having a career year. I know Ginn haters easy now. Still one of my faves just for the whooping he put on the jesters
Tony Mcdaniel and Paul McQuistan w seahacks. Probably the best chance overall.
Anthony Fasano and Sean Smith w KC. I could root for them.
Reggie Bush outside looking in. Sure glad we got rid of him huh? Dohh!
Samson Satele is w the colts. Last of the warriors from HI w a chance.
Oh...and wee Wesley wanker will be left sitting on the sidelines. Looking across the field at his former team...wondering what it would be like to play for a champion.

IMO if we get into the playoffs, we have as much chances to get a ring as the Colts and Chiefs.
I think Tony McDaniel is most likely of the former Dolphins to get a ring though.Fin-Omenal and Puka-head like this. -

I agree on Ginn, he was drafted by us and had more than a couple year tenure like some others. Not to mention he may be the most hated Miami Dolphin of all time from the start, if only we had brought in that stud Brady Quinn.

Well,
Ginn, Welker, McDaniel and the Red-headed wonder have the best chances at this point, but I won't root for them until we can't root for any of the current Fins first...
I'll tell ya that I did not think we'd be in this position. I thought 7-9 was about as good as it would get for us, then the bully=gate stuff came up and I thought that even 7-9 was optimistic. I've been wrong, so far. (now THAT was really hard to type out, hehehe). Seriously though, I am pretty much shocked that we are this close and even if we don't end up in the dance, this team has better days to look forward to with the group of players we have and the staff...that is something that I personally couldn't say before this last 6 games... Philbin has instilled a resiliency in this team that you see in good contending teams (a perfect model is the Ravens, last year and this year). So I reserve my vote to the list of current players before any former players...Puka-head likes this. -
I'll get killed for this but Karlos Dansby if Arizona can find a way into the playoffs.

Obviously hindsight tells you Pat Willis and Revis would've been better picks.

Forgot about Vontae too. Our starting backfield from just three yrs ago in the playoffs for other teams. And who the heck is M Thomas is winning games vs Marsha Brady. Next man up for shizzle.
