agree wholeheartedly. Black is a trend, a dying or dead one at that. Gray is the next one. I'd rather be at the forefront of the rising trend than the tail end of another.

Therefore if we have any alternate to white, the only and most appropriate choice is gray. Notice how the light gray on this hat doesn't overpower the logo. It's unassuming, clean, seamless, and easy on the eyes. The black on it looks great, but it's an accent color and has been softened by the gray which wouldn't happen on the uniform unless we kept a similar dynamic, and that would require using 5 colors which IMO would be terrible. Plus I'm personally not a fan of copycatting all the other teams using black. I'd rather be original and go with gray since fewer teams have gone that route.

 

IMO aqua in particular pops nicely on a black background. I prefer white as I think it fits Miami better, but black isn't bad. It's a heck of a lot better than the orange alternates.

I love our unis though as is..if were just talking alternates, I'd have to go with that light grey.

 

Best looking cap yet. I like a lot of the flat bill ones but I'm pretty sure flat bill would make me look like a tool.

I have the aqua colored version of this same 47 brand hat.
Got it at Cardboard Heroes for $6.50 on clearance.
The tag said $20 dollars and that is what I expected to pay. I was shocked.

I shave my head, Goldilocks, so I have a tendency to wear a hat on days I'm too lazy to shave it or haven't shaved for a few days, which means I'd like a little more variety than just aqua and/or orange all the time.
