Im on Twitter and Heath Evans is taking some heat for his comments. Ben Volin has commented as well. Im reading as well that Evans has said if Jordan gets 18 sacks this season its still a fail!
Has this guy got a serious beef with Ireland and the Phins when the organization cut him back in 2005? It was in the Saban days. Whats his problem?

Evans must have trouble walking with that 20 foot stick up his butt.

Let me see if I've got this right.
Heath Evans' CAREER stats (2001-2010):
Rushing yards 579
Average 3.5
Rushing TDs 4
Receptions 57
Receiving Yards 439
Receiving TDs 4
Stats at NFL.com
This guy is talking about failures? A guy who produced 113 all purpose yards and scored less than one touchdown per season?

I found it interesting that what I asked what he would have done differently he totally ignored the question like a politician and went on a different tangent

This guy gets paid? Was there anyone that was going to pay Wallace that money? Vikings offered him more no? or was going to? 18 sacks is a failure? Jordan a reach? We only gave up a 2nd pick to move up 9 spots in the draft to get in the top 3. He seems to have a negative attitude towards the Dolphins. Swapping out Dansby and getting younger with Ellerbe was not smart? Are you serious? We saved money and got younger at that position, and even better. If we didn't land Wallace it seems that Evans would have said we should have gotten Wallace. What did he want Miami to do? Not get the best WR out there in free agency, and keep their WR core the same, which did not work last year

This is why i like Jesse Aglur. He makes a great point on Evans did not like the free agency spending and use monopoly money, but Miami has one of the healthy cap space from the beginning of the off season going into next year. They had the money to spend, would be stupid not to spend it.

Lets blow up that twitter sh&$ man.
I don't think I've ever heard a prof media analyst be so obviously bias..he was so angry when talking he wasn't making any sense..
Basically he was saying that the steelers are the steelers because they know who to sign and who not to sign..guess he forgot that they offered him 10 mill a season.
Cutting on Dion Jordan by saying he doesn't care if he gets 18 sacks, he was a reach if he's 240 lbs he's gonna get run over on third down...that makes no sense..
He's a piece of sh&$, I hope dolphin fans make his life temporarily miserable..
Oh, and I do think his employer should do a review of such comments, he does work for a company and represents their name, the NFL network is owned by the NFL, there should be nothing but objective non bias opinion, and if your too stupid to understand that, then obviously it's time for him to get checked, he's really out of control relative to his job derscription.cullenbigcstill and DHPVW like this. -

For some reason no media on the Dolphins' website works for me. Audio or Video.

Add in, Jordan weighed in more then 240 pds at the Combine.
What is it about Sports Media that it just despises any Miami area team?
BSPN manufactured the Lebron controversy, the special was their idea, they were initially positive, then flipped and went on and on about it.
Jeff Lurie is a full time tard and con man, but the Marlins rarely are covered
Now that we've made some solid offseason moves, of course they have to be hated on as well. -

I loved how he rationalized why we shouldn't of picked Dion, because the patriots are a good running team and we need to match up with them, and Dion Jordan is only 240lbs so that why...lol..
He fits in that Parcells hate for me now, if I see him, something is gonna happen, to him, or his car...lol -
Honestly, who cares?

Eh, the team wins football games Evans will have to eat crow, if not he won't.
Strategically all of the moves were solid imo, and the other thing to keep in mind is how much the league has changed since he played, he's talking about the pats running the ball as if it were 2002.
It's not, they run from spread out formations now, basically the run works off of the pass, I don't know if that has sunk into some folks thick heads as of yet. -
The point he's trying to make with Dion Jordan, which I disagree with, is that the guy could be a sack specialist and get 18 sacks on the year but those 18 sacks are only 18 plays out of 500 or 600 that he'll be involved in, and he's going to be a liability on the majority of those 500 or 600 plays...and those 500 or 600 plays will hurt the team more than those 18 plays where he got the sack.
I would think that's fairly intuitive, what he's trying to say, even if you do disagree with it. I don't like that this particular statement is becoming the poster headline for why Heath Evans is the stupidest stupid head in the history of evarrr.siciliansith and Steve-Mo like this.
