It's not the logo that needs changing, it's the uni..that needs to go retro with a modern feel.

 

The old logo looks like ****, but the colors are much better.

meh logo was never an issue for me. I would rather see a color scheme change (orange primary, a blue aqua secondary) with blue aqua alternates. maybe a design update. nothing extreme. id be happy.

 

I guess I'm in the minority, but I welcome a uniform change. The logo is pretty dated. I have no problem with the look getting modernized. Now, whether the changes are going to look 'good'... I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

 

We are in the minority. I think I am in the extra minority because I think there should be logo/uniform changes for all teams every 5 to 10 years.

Yeah, last I checked we are updated with Nike uniforms made in the 21st century. New materials. New cut & style.
Our logo is traditional and recognized around the world. It should remain that way rather than adopting a drastic new one that seems more appropriate for a South Beach shipping company than an NFL helmet.

Well, first thing I would go for is not an animal wearing a helmet. You don't even find those on Arena football helmets.

 

Arena Football didn't exist 40+ years ago.
And of course no one else will do it b/c it'd look like they're copying us. There can be only one team with its mascot wearing a helmet, and that's us..... and originally so at that.

I understand your commitment to tradition, I just don't agree with it. I want a complete new image. A new coach and a new QB is a good start. I'm just sick and tired of all of the tradition talk. 12 years without a playoff win (12/30/00) tells me the tradition is dead and it's time to start anew.

Actually, if we start winning again with this new coach & new QB then our tradition will be renewed, making it silly to start anew amidst it. :)

If we're being honest here, the past dozen'ish years saw a divergence from tradition with the changing of the logo to the current cartoony looking one while also altering the uniform's appearance, so you could argue that reverting BACK to tradition is what the team needs more than moving even further away from it.
