Dolphins at Colts
Lucas Oil Stadium
1:00 PM Eastern
The perfect storm of Luck, mob city refs and Chuck Pagano sympathizers is a powerful force.
So I brought in Master Chiun to set the tone...

other note to keep in mind is DaFins' fantasy article that turned out to be more informative than mainstream...
Apparently, covering Tight Ends is their defense's best attribute...Good to know.ToddPhin likes this. -

_Remo Williams was a great film and book series
-Jerrell Freeman for the Colts is a fmr CFLer and a tackling machine
So the Colts can cover a Te? Did Deej coach them up on securing a tight end?
Little nervous about this one, think Luck's ability to run will have to be dealt with effectively.Pandarilla likes this. -
Soliai is intriguing to me. He just wrecks linemen. Smash it Soliai, lol...

Fapping material for Phingational -
I think Tanny to Gaffney will be huge today with a lil bit of Bush for good measure.. 28-17 Dolphins!
-
I've been up since 7, waiting to leave to the stadium. I'm so excited about today's game. If you hear someone yelling "Kill him" while Luck is getting pressured, that would me.

A game between two 4-3 teams has no business being this huge, but it is. Mad Dog Radio on Sirius was waxing poetic about Tanny and Luck and the two surprising teams and the playoff implications and blah blah blah.

PFT seems to think Tannehill will start:
http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2012/11/04/report-tannehill-will-dress-likely-will-start/
Adam Schefter was just on Sports Center saying that Miami will test Tannehill in pregame warm-ups. They said that will be the determining factor, and that if Tannehill does play, they'll keep him on a short leash as far as pain tolerance/effectiveness. -

For Ryan it's about playing with speed in his game, speed in his drop, quick footwork, decisive scrambling, if he's lumbering at all and not sticking that back foot in the ground hard, then yank him early.. -

I cant get an answer on hartline....

I see this as a high scoring game (both teams in the mid 20s to mid 30s). Colts defense is nothing to write home about. Their secondary is awful. But we need to stay balanced and we should be able to get off on the ground game as well. For the Colts offense, Andrew Luck is the real deal and we'll see first hand today why that is. He's hard to tackle. Our pass rushers, when we've had shots at quarterbacks have sometimes come up empty. This will lead to second and third chances down field for Luck and his receivers. Their LT has given up something like a half dozen sacks so far this year... however their RT hasn't given up any. This is bad news for us and what we do defensively. I don't see Wake getting a sack... nor do I see Vernon/Odrick getting one either. Pressure has to come from inside.
So the keys to me, tackle defensively, tackle Luck... and stay balanced offensively. Do that, and we should win... but it'll be another nailbiting Dan Carpentering affair.
