I haven't watched much NBA the last couple of years, more of a college guy when it comes to hoops. I will be cheering for the Bobcats and trying to catch some of their games though, maybe not the most popular pick around here. In the west I've really liked Steve Nash for a long time and would love to see him do well.
-
Go Celts
-
go magic!
-
Damn I wish Bogut wasn't out... this opening round would be so much more interesting if he was playing. Brandon Roy, too.
Could have been 7 interesting series rather than probably 4 or 5. -
-
Yes... rooting for Thunder to pull off the upset. I think it goes 7. At least 6.
-
Please remember that you're not just playing Boston. You are playing the refs too. This is why I take pride in Orlando beating both Boston and Cleveland last year. It proved that the Magic were good enough to overcome countless BS calls, and still win. Especially against LeBron.
gafinfan and High Definition like this. -
Yeah... Boston is not a fun opponent.
-
-
I just witnessed Tony Allen elbow and run over Carlos Arroyo on the break in front of a ref.
I actually want Boston to make it to the Finals. I want them to make it to Game 7 of the finals... in OT... with 3 seconds to go up one. Black Mamba'ed. -
Though I want the Heat to make the finals. Not Boston. -
this series is headed for epic status. i can feel it.
-
Go Cavs!
Know there are a lot of Heat fans on the board - when we play you guys in round 2 can we all just agree the refs suck and both Bron and Wade get a lot of junk calls?
I think it will be an awesome series. Go Heat (in round one).unluckyluciano likes this. -
Is there anyone that still thinks Garbett is a 'competitor' and not a punk?
Ps - Pierce leads the league in fake injuries. -
Yeah, he's a ***** too... gets "injured" and gets right back up. Just looking for dramatic effect.
I only respect Ray Allen & Rondo.
Really hope there's another incident in this series and someone (preferably Haslem, because I know he would) busts KG's ***. Legal or not. -
Heat fans, I feel ur pain after that pathetic 20 minutes to finish the game. That was a tutorial on how to completely fall apart.
-
It's all good. I don't expect to win this series. Never did. But now this is war. I want some flagrant twos before this series is up. Magloire needs some PT for this alone, and hard fouls.
I really, really want to take KG out of postseason play after what he just did there.
(Would say the same about Pierce, but he CRIES WOLF so much that if it's serious, he may not get any help. I don't want to take it that far) -
Come on man... I'm trying to spark some controversy to ignite this thread
-
Everyone is writing portland off and I love it..we've had some huge wins without roy(like @ phx)
-
Good way to finish a game Heat.
(Patiently awaits Heat and other NBA fans ***** about the refs being in the Celts pocket and Garnett being a dirty player) -
I hope we are the team to put the "C's" out of their misery. Put them down like a broken down horse. -
How can an argument be made that Garnett is NOT dirty? There is plenty of video evidence of him being a punk and playing dirty (though never to players his own size.) -
Anyway...tough betting round...
Watch for this...
Orlando - Charlotte.
After any double digit win by the Magic in that series...Take the Bobcats ATS in the very next game. That is a GREAT betting strategy I used to use with Larry Brown teams. it was a lock during the regular season and then even better during the playoffs.
If you are keeping score (Let's try and do it $$$$$ like last year)..I got these going:
Heat to win series +180
Total Games in series OVER 5-1/2 Port. - Suns -120
Russell Westbrook averaging OVER 16.3 ppg in series. -130
This is a rough betting card in round one. Guy I know took Dallas to win it all at 12/1. Had i thought of it..i would have done it..that is VALUE right there. -
Durant will beat the Lakers book it.
-
Well I hope game 1 is not a indication of whats to come.
-
-
-
-
-
This portland/phx series is going to be a really good series.
-
-
-
No Garnett. Heat MUST win game 2...
-
Cavs in 5. I think Chicago gets one at home.
-
Go spurs!!!!!!!!!!!
-
-
Not one road win in the east yet. Hopefully Orlando keeps it that way tomorrow night.
