i'll admit i said no. i just don't think the secondary is up to the task. an injured grimes, taylor, the mccain's and whatever safety we go with opposite of jones just won't be able to keep up. if it weren't for the secondary i'd be much more optimistic.
it'll be a good game though so it could happen though.dolphin25 likes this. -
I voted yes....only because there wasn't an option for "Hell Yes, we're Going to Stomp the Patriot's Cheating Candy-Asses into Oblivion!"

I voted yes in spite of mine own reservations about the secondary. Mostly because they been ballin". That and the way to beat the patsies has never been trying to cover everyone its been knocking Marcia on her azz az many timez az pozzible. Like we did last year. Like we did last game with three sacks in a row. Do that during any one of the first quarter pats possessions and then follow it up with another to start the second half and Marcia is crying on the sidelines again. And there is nothing sweeter than the taste of her tears.

i'm pumped about this team as anyone, but i just don't believe it, its at their house, they don't lose over there, especially within the division, so i voted no

As always, it will be won in the trenches. If they put a lot of pressure on Brady and keep him from getting comfortable in the pocket, and if our OL can keep the pressure off of Tannehill we can win this game in their home. Brady has shown a propensity for getting rattled when he is under a lot of pressure. This will be a great opportunity to see how much and how hard they want to play and win for Campbell.

stuff is lined up well, they are are decimated along the oline, Dan knows them well..our dline is hunting, OV has been playing well.our linebackers have been playing well, we have two probowl players on the backend, and our offense is in rhythm..
and we dont have to worry about the mentality of our team, or them coming out flat for some odd reason, we know what were gonna get in that dept, and that is consistent crazed dog foaming.khat, dolfndav34, Aqua4Ever04 and 5 others like this. -
I voted no mostly on the Pats home field record but I have been wrong before and would like to be wrong again.
-
I clicked no on accident, but I mean, why the hell wouldn't we beat them? Yeah, they're tough, it's at home for them, and it's a Thursday night, but there's a reason why the games are played.

I voted yes. Dan Campbell will find a way to beat the cheat and get this team a win tomorrow night to keep his streak going.

I think this is going to be a hell of a game considering the intensity of our Fins and the vengeance the Pats want to deliver to the entire NFL.
The fact that the Pats have very little game tape to analyze is a noteworthy factor but they know they have to hone in on stopping the run.
I believe Campbell is smart enough to test the Pats deep early with play action to get them to back off and to test their weakened secondary.
In the end, I don't believe coaching will be the deciding factor. I can't believe I can finally say that.
My pick is on the home team, simply for that advantage. I think it's going to be a competitive, close game.

I obviously hope I'm wrong, but I suspect the Cheats will do what they always do on the big stage. It's a TALL order to come up on a short week, travel up there and try to steal one in their house. After the last two weeks with a team that thrives on energy, I've got to think they're going to head into it a little depleted on the vigor. This team surprises the hell out of you at every turn, though - both good and bad.

I say it's very possible. Stranger things have happened.

I voted yes. I believe in what Dan Campbell is doing with this team. I haven't been this pumped up for a regular season game in a very long time.

He's the dream coach alex..like the kind of coach if you could draw up from scratch it would be this dude, yes we have to wait and see where his schematic intellect is, but some of that is going to be relative to experience on the job...listening to him discect the pats has me even more hope, he seems to break things down well.. -

No. Short week and in Foxboro. Eventually, yes, just not this one.

You know I am not worry about the secondary. We are going to be as healthy as we have been defensively since week 1. Plus I think with Reshad Jones playing as well as he has been this year, we have a chance to slow down their offense. If our front four can consistently get pressure and knock him down a few times a possession, our secondary could do whatever they want.

I certainly think it will be a much closer and better game than it would have been if Philbin was still the head coach. If it was being played in Miami, I think the Dolphins would have a very good chance of winning.
Unfortunately with the game being played in New England and on a short preparation week, I just think the Patriots with Belichick and Brady have a huge advantage heading into the game.
Obviously I would love to see the Dolphins win the game, but right now I think it will be the Patriots by a score of 27-17.dolphin25 likes this. -

A win here would make my year though...not only because of what it would mean for this one game, but what it would mean for the rest of the season. However I'd say it's critical that they play well, win or lose. -
